Usage of collected information

• Account information

  When you sign up with Nutshell, we will request your email address and a password to create your account. Your password will be stored in our database in an encrypted form. Additionally, we may also record your usage of the service for the sole purpose of enhancing the user experience.

• Notes and to-do's

  Your notes and to-do's are stored on the Nutshell server in order to provide the service. Because we keep back-up copies of data for the purpose of recovery from errors or system failure, residual copies of notes and to-do's may remain on our systems for some time, even after you have deleted information or after the termination of your account. We do not access your content unless you specifically request us to do so or if required by law, to maintain our system, or to protect Nutshell or the public.

• Cookies

  Nutshell uses cookies for user identification and service customization. If you have set your browser to refuse cookies you will not be able to use Nutshell.

Contacting you

Nutshell reserves the right to notify its users by email in case of fundamental changes to its service. You can not opt-out of receiving these notifications, because we believe they're very important indeed.
